How to store your e-cigarettes
Where and how you store your electronic cigarette is the key to keeping your e-cigarette in great condition. It can often be so tempting to stuff your device in your handbag, pocket or the glove box of the car, but storing your e-cig correctly is just as important as regularly cleaning it all of the elements out. Read our top do’s and don’ts of electronic cigarette storage to keep it in great working condition for even longer.
Keep it cool
Whether you’re storing your e-cigarette for a few hours or weeks, it’s essential that you leave your electronic cigarette in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. So if it’s a hot summer’s day or you’re heading to the beach on holiday, leave your device inside if you want to prolong its lifespan. If possible, you should also keep your e-cigarette upright when in storage, to prevent the clearomizer from leaking or the wick from drying out.
Storing Your Battery
When you know you’re not going to be using your e-cigarette again for a few days or weeks, you may not think to charge your e-cig before storing it. However keeping it at least 50% charged will prevent it from going dead, and make the battery last for longer. Again, this should be stored in a cool dry place along with the rest of your e-cigarette.
Although it would be impossible to obey these rules 100% of the time, bear them in mind for guidance when caring for your electronic cigarette, especially when putting it into storage for more than a day or two. By doing so, you can protect your device from the elements and make sure you get a great vape every time.
At Prestige Vaping we want to ensure that you get the most from your electronic cigarette. Making sure that you look after it properly is important for a long lifespan.
