In a vaping rut?
If you’ve ever fallen out of love with your e-liquid or lost the ability to taste when using your e-cigarette, it's probably a case of vaper’s tongue, which can be incredibly frustrating. Whilst this strange phenomenon isn’t serious, and it’s usually short-lived, that doesn’t make it any less annoying when you experience vaper’s fatigue.
To help you cure the symptoms and regain your vaping mojo, here are a few tips on how to cure vaper’s tongue – fast!
Take a Break
Perhaps the most obvious solution to vaper’s fatigue is to take a break from your e-cigarette. We’re all guilty of puffing away without even thinking, and it’s easy to forget to pause when you’re sat watching TV or chatting to your mates in the pub. To give your taste buds a respite, put your e-cig to one side for 10-15 minutes, before starting again.
Drink Water
Sometimes, vaper’s tongue occurs because we are dehydrated. When your body is low on fluids, it can struggle to absorb flavours, making your e-liquid taste weaker than usual. Try drinking a glass of tap water – it will often do the trick!
Freshen Up
When your taste buds are overwhelmed with a flavour, they can become desensitised. If you’re at home, try swilling mouthwash to cleanse your palate. It’s always a good idea to carry a stick of gum in case you’re out and about.
Switch Flavours
One of the most common causes of e-liquid fatigue is overusing a single flavour. So why not try mixing up your e-liquid by experimenting with a new flavour? We’ve got over 50 e-liquids to choose from, meaning you’re bound to find one that tickles your taste buds.
Whether you’re dehydrated or simply bored of the same old taste, follow these simple steps to find a quick and effective cure for vaper’s tongue. And most importantly – don’t panic! It’s a common symptom and one that you shouldn’t worry about.
