How you can cure your vaper’s tongue
One day you’re sat, vaping your favourite flavour and all of a sudden you realise that it doesn’t actually taste very good at all, maybe you cannot taste it all. Whilst this can send many a vaper into a panic, there’s usually not cause to worry. You might not enjoy your favourite flavour for a couple of weeks but generally, it gets better over time and you can return to it. Here’s our guide on how to cure Vaper’s Tongue if it occurs with a few easy ways.
Change your flavour:
This may seem obvious but it’s something that many people suffering often do not think of in their panic. For a lot of Vapers, simply changing the flavour that they vape for a couple of weeks can cure their Vaper’s Tongue. Usually, they can then return to their favourite flavour and then enjoy it as much as they did before. A recommended e-liquid to change to for a couple of weeks is menthol as man vapers reported that this left them feeling refreshed and ready to return to their favourite liquid.
Sucking on a lemon:
This may seem like a joke, but we’re serious, we assure you! You may not be able to taste your e-liquid, but we’re sure that you’ll be able to taste a zesty lemon. Lemons are said to ‘reset’ your taste buds in only a short amount of time and to quick effect.
The reason that you may have lost your taste is that you are dehydrated. Dehydration contributes to you losing your taste in general, not just your e-liquid. Just sipping your favourite juice, beverage or simply water can rehydrate you and rejuvenate your taste buds, allowing you to enjoy your vaping again. A good option to drink is sparkling water as with its fizzy features, it cleans your tongue quickly and effectively whilst refreshing you.
